I was born in Medellin, and raised
in Bogota, Colombia.
I studied industrial design at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogota and just completed a master's degree in Product Design at Domus Academy in Milan, Italy.
While conducting my studies, I traveled to Madrid and Barcelona, where I had the opportunity to develop activities in different studies and interact with renowned designers. This experience has allowed me to expand my vision about design.
Before the end of my career, I worked as an intern in ¨Smartbrands¨, one of the most prestigious brand consulting agencies of Colombia. There i began my learning process about branding, a process that has been influencing all my projects and has allowed me to understand better the companies and provide them solutions consistent with their principles and ideals.
For some years I worked on my accessories line; necklaces, headdresses and bags, activity that i developed as a hobby and emerged from my interest in fabrics, colors, textures and materials.
Later I joined "Solar Hotels & Resorts" hotel chain. There I worked on redesigning the brand's image, the Department of Media and Brand creation and in the program for management centralization for brand identity and logistics orders as well as production and suppliers selection.
A little over a year ago I traveled to Milan to study my Master in Product Design at Domus Academy. Simultaneously I worked on the rebranding project of ¨Kaaten¨, a Spanish company dedicated to sell curtains online. Under the guidance of the marketing department new elements necessary for the renovated business model were created in order to align all channels.
In Domus Academy I developed projects directed by designers such as Matteo Ragni, Setsu Ito, Jozeph Forakis or companies such as Alpi Wood.
I had the opportunity to work in the studio Claudio Bellini Design + as responsible for the development of a line of cooking tools and participate in projects of furniture and interior design.
